Import your bank statement
Import a PDF in a supported Canadian bank format. The statement is parsed locally and retained on your device. Sharing it with our team is a separate choice.
On-device AI categorizes transactions
Local categorization assigns spending categories such as groceries, dining and transport. Review the results and correct categories when needed.
Insights generated locally
Spending totals and recurring expense detection use your local records. Available AI features depend on your device and supported system features.

iOS Data Protection
Financial records are stored in a local database protected by iOS Data Protection. This is device protection, rather than a separate database encryption key.
Optional app lock
You can enable the app's passcode or biometric lock in Settings to restrict access to the app.
Local financial storage
Normal statement import and categorization run on your device. Financial records are not automatically uploaded to our team.
On-device PDF processing
Imported PDFs are parsed and retained locally in the app. The original file in Files is not deleted by an import.
Export before removing the app
Removing the app removes its local financial records. Export records you need to keep. A statement you explicitly emailed to our team is separate from local storage.
Your privacy controls
Local processing, optional analytics, and statement sharing have different roles. Choose the options that work for you.
Optional usage analytics
Usage analytics use TelemetryDeck when enabled. You can control this separately in Settings.
Explicit statement sharing
Choosing to share sends the full statement by email to our team to help improve bank support.
Device access matters
The database remains accessible to the app after the first device unlock following a restart. Keep your device passcode and app lock settings in mind.
